Animal Welfare
We know animal welfare is as important to you as it is to us.
At Perennial Grasslands we monitor animals between 1-7 times per day to determine:

are they behaving differently
-
do they look different
-
do they smell different
-
have they had enough to eat and drink
-
are they content
-
is there a good match between gut flora and perennial grass age
Nutrient Density
This graph shows that Nourished by Nature beef has a similar omega 6:3 ratio to wild caught salmon
This graph shows that Nourished by Nature beef has a higher amount of Conjugated Linoleic Acid profile which some research has shown to have multiple heath benefits
Nutrient Density
Well managed cattle on high landscape function perennial grasslands produce high nutrient dense meat with the right balance of fats. We are in the process of having our meat independently tested for nutrients and fat profile but as our management produces a similar soil surface to Browns Ranch, North Dakota the graphs to the left are the type of results expected.
